The school expects all children to wear school uniform. |

School sweatshirts and polo shirts bearing the Rickley Junior School logo are available from the school office. Sweatshirts which children have outgrown are sometimes donated to the school and may be available free of charge. All clothing, including footwear, should be marked and re-marked at intervals with your child’s name. Lost property is often unclaimed so, if anything is lost at school, please let us have the details. |

Plimsolls or suitable trainers for outdoor lessons. For indoor P.E., children are expected to participate in bare feet unless they have a foot infection in which case plimsolls or trainers are acceptable. Children in Year 5 receive swimming lessons. They should be equipped with swim wear and a towel. |

· In sunny weather children are encouraged to wear a hat when they are outside. We prefer the use of plain hats with a peak or brim. · An apron or old shirt is essential if children are to enjoy Art and Technology work. · A bag to hold small items of clothing is useful to help avoid mislaying P.E. wear |
